Overview of AS 5216, the post-installed anchors code in Australia

The first version of AS 5216, the Australian Standard for Design of post-installed and cast-in fastenings in concrete, was published in 2018, replacing the previous technical note SA TS 101:2015. Since then, the standard was reviewed in 2021 and it's planned to be reviewed in 2024. This session will discuss the new sessions added to the most recent versions of AS 5216 as well as the basic concepts of the code.
