temporary fixing choice
Hi,
I need to design some temporary fixing, relatively light loading, 5 Kn max per fixing. Any anchors you would recommend in general?

Hi,
Thank you for your question. We would recommend the use of the HUS3 screw anchor.
HUS3 screw anchors are commonly used for temporary fixings for the following reasons:
- They can be easily removed after installation
- Screw anchors provide the minimum requirement of edge distance and spacing compared to other anchor types, which is particularly advantageous in applications where tight spacing is a factor
- HUS3-H can be adjusted and reused which provides additional benefits for temporary applications
For safety critical applications, design as per SA TS 101/AS 5216 must be conducted to verify the anchoring strength.
